What Anonym dislikes about Dux Restaurant:
We waited over an hour to be seated and another half hour for our drinks, even though the restaurant was not very busy. The breakfast wrap we ordered was supposed to have bacon and eggs but instead had lettuce and no egg. The eggs Benedict we ordered had runny and uncooked whites. It seems Dux have increased their prices by about 20% in the last 18 months. Food on the plate in some dishes seem smaller as well. My meal of zuchini and pumpkin fritters was tasty but a bit dry and poached egg was also dry. They happily provided a sauce when requested. Cafe was nearly empty for a Friday breakfast whereas it used to be quite full. Food: 4

We have come to Dux Cafe regularly for years, both with the lovely previous owners, and the current owner (whom is an absolutely beautiful soul). The breakfasts are amazing and more importantly consistent. They have no problem catering to my dietary requirements as I am anaphylaxis to certain foods. I highly recommend Dux Cafe and look forward to eating here next time I am up visiting my daughters. Di from Albany.
