Feedback
I really enjoyed the atmosphere at Como Steak House, and the building is absolutely gorgeous. I must commend their staff; it's been quite some time since I've experienced such outstanding service. The waitresses were exceptional! I was also surprised by the crowd on a Wednesday night; it’s clear that Como Steak House is a favorite among locals. I ordered the 8oz fillet, along with a salad and a loaded baked potato, paired with sweet tea. While the steak wasn't as tender as I had hoped, the flavor was delicious, and the baked potato was nearly as good as the steak. This place is definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area. I’ll be back, if for no other reason than the attentive and friendly service.
My experience at Como Steak House was completely different from the glowing reviews I had read. After driving two hours to try this restaurant, following my mom's fantastic visit with a coworker a few weeks ago, we were disappointed. Our appetizers were the highlight of the meal. I ordered lamb chops, but they were overcooked and burnt. I swapped them for grilled catfish filets, which turned out to be undercooked and lacking seasoning. I also ordered the bourbon pecan pie, which was poorly presented and didn't feel like a full serving. My mom and fiancé found their steaks to be quite tough. My mom mentioned that the food didn't match her previous experience, suspecting it might be due to a different chef, but that shouldn’t excuse the poor quality. The only reason I am giving two stars is for our waitress and the appetizers. I will not be returning under any circumstances!
