I had shrimp pasta, whi... read more The atmosphere is wonderful—romantic, Italian, and chill. The food was pretty good. My girlfriend had a meat steak, which was very good. I had shrimp pasta, which was just okay. The nicest moment was when the owner noticed that the pasta wasn’t really to my taste and offered to bring me a tiramisu on the house. That’s the kind of customer service that shouldn’t be missing anywhere. P.S. They insisted on not charging us for either the pasta or the tiramisu, and we also received an extra glass of wine for free. It’s been a long time since I’ve been somewhere where I was treated so well. 5 stars for their attention and care.

Despite the fact th... read more We loved everything about this restaurant. The setting, the atmosphere, the food, the hospitality and the family are staff that welcomed us. Despite the fact that we didn’t make a reservation we were lucky to get a beautiful table inside. And felt welcome like long lost friends. The included picture is obviously from that first night. We loved that Friday evening so much that we decided to go back there for our second night too, and made a reservation that same night. Unfortunately, that second evening my husband was not feeling well (had nothing to do with the restaurant) but he insisted on going there anyway because we loved it so much. Halfway through the evening my husband’s condition got worse so we had to go to the hotel. The staff was very friendly and felt sorry for him, and despite our attempts to pay for what we ordered and got served, they didn’t charge us for his food and drinks and they wished him well. So very kind and so very generous. Much appreciated. We go to the Salone del Mobile in Milan every year and always end these busy days with a relaxing weekend in Como but this was the first time there. Next year we will definitely visit Piazza Roma Como restaurant again. With love, M J

Food... read more This was a highlight of our Como experience. You feel like family, enjoying Nona’s best traditional recipes. The ambience is delightful, rustic, charming. Food is excellent and very engaging service. Don’t miss this little diamond in the heart of Como. Loved it!!!
