Very very good food and great hospitality. The best restaurant I have eaten in for some time.
The restaurant is surrounded by a beautiful garden and operated by the fifth generation of the family. From the ambience, setting, hosting, to the cuisine, everything is perfectly balanced. This is probably one of the best and my favorite restaurant in Italy.

Very good food and great hospitality. the best restaurant in which I have eaten some time.
We had an amazing experience at this traditional restaurant. Located in a lovely and perfectly kept garden, this place is the oldest restaurant of the region and has been within the same family since 1896 (currently: 5th generation! . The owners are extremely nice and attentive, the service impeccable and the food excellent. The restaurant may be slightly old fashioned, but it gives a very warm atmosphere. Last but not least, although we left quite a large tip, the owners gave it all to the waitress. Very impressed by the overall kindness and care!

Family owned traditional local restaurant with excellent service and great tasty dishes. All dinner well planned with small appetizers and good wine selection
Inventive carefully chosen menu, family run for generations, exudes warmth with expertise does such a place exist? Yes it does and it is called Navedano. So impressed were we, we ate there three times and each time the family (Giuliano, the incomparable Leila, daughter Sabrina) and Paula upped their game. Our last visit we were served an off the menu duck starter followed by an old family recipe of slow cooked chicken (5/6 hours) which was wrapped in locally gathered herbs, parchment then terracotta and ceremonially “opened” using a hammer at the table. (You need to pre order this dish). The wine contained many inexpensive local wines which Leila recommended before the more expensive ones this the mark of a confidence that was not misplaced as they were delicious and perfected matched the food. It is slightly off the beaten track, there is ample parking unlike a lot of restaurants in the Como area but it is well worth the visit.
A short ride up the mountain by Como, away from the tourist spots a wonderful evening is to be had. The owners greet you and serve you. If you book ahead they have chicken cooked in a clay pot with potatoes that needs to be ordered a day ahead. If not, there is a tasting menu and plenty a La carte options to choose from. The onion tart was divine, the zucchini flowers stuffed with hair cheese just to start. Chicken cooked in parchment inside clay that they proudly bring out for you to hammer open. It’s moist -even the breast-more than enough for 2 people. Cleanest bathrooms I’ve ever seen…
This is a very special place! I can’t imagine what it’s like to dine outside in the warmer months because the inside was still so special. The service is amazing but also so friendly! The food was delicious and imaginative. I can’t say enough about the atmosphere. It was a perfect night!

This was one of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to in my life! The food was superb and the atmosphere was so warm and authentic. 5th generation owned and operated estate. If you are looking for the “Nonna” experience, this is it!! I felt like I was having dinner with relatives while there. Top dishes for us: Onion antipasto, Ravioli, Tempura zucchini, Tiramisu.
The best restaurant experience of our Italy vacation. The family owners treated us like long lost friends and served food that is second to none. From appetizers through dessert, we loved every bite. And the ambience is amazing. Gorgeous gardens and even a 200-year old tree inside. Do yourself a favor and go asap.
A wonderful experience! The staff was extremely kind and professional, making us feel welcomed from the very first moment. The food is simply delicious: every dish is carefully crafted, with balanced flavors and quality ingredients. Special thanks to Chef Francesco, who not only delighted us with his refined cuisine but also took the time to personally greet us—a gesture we greatly appreciated. His dishes are a true delight. I will definitely be back!
