The square is very pretty and lively, but I t... read more We had just arrived in Como for a two day trip, and wasted over an hour of it waiting for food in this restaurant. The square is very pretty and lively, but I think we chose the worst place to eat there. Although we were...seated quickly and given menus, our order was not taken for over half an hour-after waving and trying desperately to get someone’s attention. Both items I tried to order were unavailable, and there was no apology for the wait-it felt more like we were an inconvenience. The pizza ordered for two of our group arrived (seemingly from a different restaurant) after about 15 minutes, along with our drinks and this was already finished when the rest of the table received their food another 15 minutes later. We didn’t even get any bread to snack on while we were waiting, although some other tables seemed to. The pizza was fine, but the other dishes (pasta Cacio e pepe and broccoli flan) were really unpleasant. Overall a pretty frustrating experience that I would definitely not want to repeat.

My son also left most of his. The staff, whilst ubiquity initially charming, weren't interested in our complaint. I wouldn't return.

Don’t risk it.
