Then I moved to Italy and learned that I never liked it because I’d never had it prepared properly. I now love it, but am really finicky about it, have a ridiculously sensitive nose, and my stomach usually is in knots trying fish at a new restaurant. Not here! OMG the food is amazing. I literally crave their signature dish and then there is the wine list! That puts this place in a whole other category. Service is that perfect combination of elegant but also making you feel like you are a special family member. This place is not to be missed.

This was authentic food, beautiful presentation, fabulous flavors. Definitely will be back to explore other items on the menu.

We happened upon this restaurant one night when our grandson was visiting with a friend and absolutely fell in love with it. Nick Maria are wonderful, the food is excellent and all the wait staff are professional and very friendly. We have actually come back with friends a few weeks later and again last night celebrating our wedding anniversary. We will certainly make this one of our favorite restaurants to visit each time we're here.

Not only does fish taste hea... read more I am so freaking picky when it comes to fish restaurants: I grew up in Genoa (I) where fish is a religion and cooking it is an art. Not only does fish taste heavenly at Lo Storico but their creativity when it comes to dishes is simply wonderful. I love that you can always count on their menu anchors (the signature shrimp dish has been there for 30 years), but also on their specials that are entirely based on the best catch and/or freshest ingredients of the day. Last time we visited we had the chance to enjoy the first puntarelle con alici croccanti of the season, as well as some linguine porcini e scampi that were to die for. Also, for those that enjoy wine, be aware Lo Storico has one of the most impressive lists in town: you can find affordable bottles, the most luxurious items (think Dom Perignon P2) and above all gems few connoisseurs have ever heard of.
