Stylish and convenient stopover for coffee and drinks on lively Piazza Perretta in the historical city centre of Como, few steps from the Duomo and the lake. Coffee and food might be better elsewhere yet the service is friendly and nice, always welcoming and pleasant. View all feedback.
What YuannieFishie doesn't like about La Quinta:
To be fair, this place is more of a bar than restaurant. We ordered pastas as there was nothing else opened around the area (too early for dinner). The food was just average.. Nothing too fancy. Both our arrabiata and seafood pastas were a bit disappointing. Tiramisu was definitely the worst I ever had. One thing good was that the staff were very friendly and cheerful. View all feedback.
Nice bar for a small italian breakfast (cappucino+croissant). Friendly servicestaff and authentic coffee. Not expensive (2,50€ for coffee, 1,50€ for a very good croissant).
There’s no easy way to say it. It was the worst meal we ever had in our life. We were looking forward to eat some good Italian food, but the experience was really awful. We were 5, and 4 of us didn’t even get the second bite. I was the only one who got pizza and I was the only one to Eat 1 entire part, but not a second one... My pizza, the base was frozen ones...the pastas were so horrible,We can’t even call pasta to that! It was to bad, really uneatable! The starters were ok, though! A good tuna salad and a plate of salumi and cheese. Go there if you want to drink a beer and get some aperitif, but JUST DON’T Go There to lunch! They don’t know how to cook. We payed 80€ to not have lunch
Very pleasant staff and efficient service, we love this place for lunch. The pasta is good and the salads excellent with heaps of food for a very modest price. We recommend the Mediterranean salad with fruit. Nice coffee and good beer. Highly recommended/

Delicious food for low price. Kind and quick service, good central location. If you want to try something local it is worth to visit this place. Absolutely recommend!
