Starbucks - Commerce
Starbucks
Description
Conveniently located off I‑85 in Commerce, this Starbucks serves solid coffee, seasonal drinks and pastries in a clean, recently remodeled space popular with commuters and students. Mobile ordering and a swift drive‑thru often speed pickup, though guests report inconsistent counter availability, order accuracy and occasional long waits when large orders are queued. Staff friendliness varies from attentive to curt. Good for menu variety and location, but expect service variability during busy periods.

On a Sunday morning, I found this Starbucks to be quite loud, even though I was the only customer for a while. It was noisier than any other Starbucks I've visited. It has definitely changed a lot since my last visit over 14 years ago! There are a few single seats along the wall, but the main seating consists of two long communal tables. While this setup isn't ideal, they do provide power outlets and the Wi-Fi worked well. I stayed for some time, but I didn’t find this particular Starbucks to be a great place for working on my laptop. [Review 1107 of 2024, 763 in Georgia, 22133 overall]
Using the Starbucks app to place my order has been a total game-changer! It's quick, convenient, and saves so much time on hectic mornings. I love that I can customize my order, pay ahead of time, and just pick it up without any wait. If you're looking for a fast and easy way to grab coffee, the app is definitely the way to go!
I visited after a long road trip in need of some caffeine and a snack. The baristas were friendly and attentive, crafting some really delicious drinks! The ambiance was typical of a study space, with a moderate noise level and several people working on their laptops around the store. I'm really pleased that Starbucks maintains such consistent quality across its locations!
This is our local Starbucks and yes, they are always busy due to the location but they are so thoughtful. I recently had to become dairy free due to allergies changing and today ordered a pumpkin spice (I'm basic I know) and did coconut milk. As we were at the window remaking the drink because of whip cream they shared the pumpkin sauce had dairy in it and proceeded to make me a whole new drink though they were SO backed up. So thoughtful and what a way to make an extra effort for me when they did not have to and I wasn't going to ask. Made my day!
Three employees running the drive-thru and no one at the counter. If you don't want to offer counter service then put up a sign. Don't stare at me standing at the counter and say nothing. I was finally willing to break my personal years-long Starbucks strike, but you convinced me to just keep it going. Plenty of other places to get coffee.
