Reviews - Panda Express
Reviews summary
Panda Express at the Citadel Mall offers a mix of experiences, with both commendable and concerning aspects. Guests rave about the generous portions of favorites like orange chicken and broccoli beef, particularly appreciating the efficient service during busy lunch hours. However, complaints surface regarding the inconsistency of food freshness, with some items served cold or stale. Additionally, patrons have noted issues with limited side options and unhelpful staff attitudes. Despite these challenges, the restaurant remains a popular choice for shoppers due to its convenient location and the comforting familiarity of its classic dishes.

Workers were kinda rude i just wanted to add a drink to my order and the guy told me i need to drink more water : . I left crying i love panda but i just can?t come back after this omg traumatizing.
Ordered the three entree plate: kongpao chicken, beef and walnut shrimp. Food tastes good. The walnut shrimp was a bit too sweet. They didn?t have soup yesterday which was a disappointment.
As a frequent panda lover, I found this location to be quite disappointing! I don't want to leave a harsh review, but I had requested a larger plate and bowl. After waiting for a while, they only provided me with a plate and a bowl, even though I had already paid for my food. They charged me an extra $2.25 for the entrée, when adding it to the plate combo should only have been an additional dollar. I can't help but feel a bit scammed.
As a vegetarian, I'm not familiar with the food options, but I've visited various Panda Express locations and noticed that they are always crowded, whether in mall food courts or at the airport.
The service at this restaurant is extremely slow; we had to wait over 20 minutes for our order. They only offered bottled water, even though the soda machine was functioning perfectly. With two kids who really needed water, I was disappointed to see that they prioritized selling bottled water for profit. It's quite frustrating.

These are my favorite places to eat. Lines are usually long but it’s worth the price and the quantity. All staffs speak English and Spanish.
I went to lunch here at Panda Citadel 12/23/2023 with my sister, mom and dadfor our last minute Christmas shopping. Both my parents are in their 80s, so they decided to share their meal. So I asked for an extra spoon and cup for them. Julie with eye glasses was working as cashier, gave me a smirk and attitude. She was not happy to serve. So me and my family decided that we will no longer eat here at panda citadel whenever we shop here. Julie's attitude is not welcoming. Panda should train her to be respectful. The subway workers besides panda are more restpectful.
12/20/23 5:45pm, First and foremost, RATIONING, it's annoying seeing your plate get skimped out on portion, I ordered a plate and they served me like it was a kids meal, the girl with glasses serving the protein was gonna put me a second small scoop of orange chicken which seemed like a proper way to serve, and then out of nowhere she hesitated to drop it in my plate and just put it back in the protein counter instead of dropping in plate, I got even more disappointed when I got home and opened my plate up it looked like someone had already eaten out of it due to the portion I was served, very annoying
12/16 at 9pm We decided to come and eat panda because our toddler wanted honey walnut shrimp. When we got to the door to order my husband looked over and saw there was a pot full of shrimp. Since it was closer to closing time, line was not as long but the manager Annie or Ann was packing the plates like it was China Express. I overheard and saw one of the cook asked the cashier what else was he making and cashier said ask the manager and he said Annie do you want me to make anything else and she looked around and nodded no. When she got to ours she did not mention anything to us that they 'll be no more honey walnut shrimp until the cashier said do you want anything else because there 's no honey walnut shrimp and I responded why didn 't she say anything while serving our food and cashier said that was on me my bad like huh?? How 's it your job to let everyone know there that the cook won 't be making anymore food.. makes no sense, your job is being a cashier. And so, he continue to ask me what I wanted and I said honey walnut shrimp, and he said there 's no more it was my bad, not once did the manager intervene and apologized. Seems like the employees kiss ass to the managers here. And so I said no she 's just being lazy and he started to become aggressive with his tone and he said any drinks and I responded a large Diet Coke and he took out two sizes of cups a regular and large and slammed them on top of soda machine and I responded I said large and I continued to say damn are you mad that you 're working late or what and he just got red and didn 't say anything but talking under his stank ass breath and the cook said oh yea I 'm so mad and walked away. How does corporate not coming to check their locations out during the holidays?

Panda Express is located in a small courtyard near the main entrance, which makes parking fairly easy, even on a busy Saturday afternoon. When we got there, we almost opted to leave because there were 10 people in line outside, but it moved surprisingly fast. The staff was efficient, and the food was fresh and generous, especially the noodles—I felt like they gave bigger portions than I'm used to.
I just had lunch at Panda Express in the Citadel Mall Food Court. The positives were consistent as always: generous portions of orange chicken and dishes like broccoli beef. The service was quite speedy, despite the hectic lunch rush. However, the food was cold and stale from being left out, so I believe they need to work on keeping it fresh. Additionally, the machine for making the chow mein wasn't functioning properly.
The ideal place to recharge after a long day of shopping! There’s usually a line, but that just shows how amazing the food is! The staff is also exceptionally friendly!
If I had seen the reviews before, I wouldn’t have come here—they don’t even deserve one star! The staff are incredibly rude, especially Vanessa. The owner is cheap and won’t serve a free cup of water, and the bottled water they sell is smaller than a regular bottle but still overpriced. The food portions are very small; even when they add a spoonful, they end up taking some away. If you’re trying to save money, don’t bother coming here. I’ll never return!
Just got done eating my lunch at Panda Express in the Food Court of Citadel Mall. The pros were the same as always great orange chicken and others like broccoli beef. Food was served fairly quickly even though lunch rush is insane. Only problem is, it was cold and stale from sitting out, I think they need to work on keeping it fresh. Their machine that makes the chow mein doesn?t work so well either.
