This is our go to pizzeria. We have tried a few in the area but the family all agree that this is the best one. If we are hosting a party or a casual dinner and I don?t feel like cooking this is our spot. Friendly. Clean. Efficient ????????????
It really stinks I have to take down my original 5 star review of this place but they have just gone downhill so hard, seemingly so fast too. It started with the pasta dishes, I used to get a bolognse, that was decent but eventually just became a containerof pasta and cream with red coloring. I literally poured off 1/2 of cream and oil, not sauce, off the last order I had. Thecontainer was literally filled to the brim, more sauce than pasta. Surprisingly it was around 20 too...for a spaghetti dish.Slices weren 't immune, last order was 2 chicken specialty(1 Parm 1 Marsala) 2 plain and it came out to be 21 and change... Iasked the person behind the counter if that was right and the poor kid instantly deflated and rattled off yeah they raised theprices a bunch due to inflation and he seemed like he was ready to get yelled at. I told him I know it 's not his fault and heseemed to relax some. Three of those 4 slices were not good at all. The Parm slice was so old the chicken had hardened to littleslices of rock and the two plain slices were floppy and super greasy. Since I had been going there for years I just thoughtmaybe it 's just an off occurrence or two so I try a hero. The meatball parm had only 4 tiny little meatballs on the whole thingand somehow had both supper soggy and burnt black bread and was about 12. If all that wasn 't enough they have anow-everchanging lineup of employees as they are seemingly always hiring. I overheard an employee talking outside the shop to acustomer who was seemingly complaining about prices saying I hope they are paying you well and the individual just laughed shookhis head no and pointed to a large new looking truck...saying that 's where it goes . And please... do not blame youremployees, people are getting smart to big corporations lying to us for un-precedented profits. Copying their business models isnot a good look, despite the short term profit. I 'd say I would try them again if they got their ish back to
Little Mema's is my go to pizza place when home. Their pizza is delicious! A nice chewy crust followed by flavorful sauce and the right amount of mozzerella makes for a great cheese slize! I always call ahead when ordering and they always have the foodpiping hot and waiting for me.
As a surprising twist on a early Sunday evening dinner I discovered this hidden treasure in Commack: Mema?s Little Kitchen. The service was great right up to the moment that I arrived and parked my car. Sammie, who would eventually be our server, waswiping down the outside tables and greeted me with a ?Hello? and her dynamic smile. This is pizzeria style service and food sobe prepared for large portions and that typical Long Island pizzeria menu. However, when it come to the table side service onceyou have ordered from the counter the surprising energy and attention to detail that Sammie provides will make any guest feelspecial like they are the only person that matters. My hat is off to this superior service and good home made Italianspecialties. Thanks Sammie.
Just sat down with my pizza and I am so disappointed. First pizza back in NY and my sauce has no seasoning, the cheese falls right off, no taste to the dough. Can?t taste the basil on my margarita pizza. There really is no seasoning or taste at all. Gotmy order wrong too. Flies seem to like it though. Salt, pepper, zero garlic, not even garlic powder. SOGGY. Can?t pick up aslice without everything falling off. What a waste of money
