I asked for General Tsos extra spicy. It was unspicy and not much sauce. Usually good food and I will give them another try BUT the cook needs to slow down. I'm willing to wait longer to get it right.

Went to Foo Luck for first time. First impression was not good at all, had to ask for a take out menu several times since the one on the counter was ripped and missing parts of the menu. After deciding what we wanted I patiently waited (no othercustomers in the store) several minutes then asked the young man twice if he could take our order. The food had better be betterthan there poor customer service! Probably will not be going back since we were going to Meat Farms and decided to eat Chinesefood tonight. Well we got our food and it was ????????. Will never return again, don?t know how they stay in business! Guesssome people don?t care what they put in their mouth!

I truly do not understand the people in the reviews because this place is awesome and the food is great. They have been there for many years and I have enjoyed their take-out many times. Its very good and the people are very nice.

1. They offer delivery without relying on services like Grubhub or Uber, so you avoid those extra fees that make other deliveries feel overpriced. 2. The shrimp and lobster sauce is just right, packed with plenty of egg and ground pork, and no peas or carrots—the kind of dish that's becoming increasingly rare in local takeout spots. 3. The egg rolls are generously filled with pork and perfectly plump. 4. The fried rice is moist and loaded with plenty of pork as well. 5. The fried dumplings are rich in flavor, and the dipping sauce isn't overly vinegary. This is classic old-school Long Island takeout Chinese food, just like I remember from the 80s. I’m excited to try more dishes!

Great food! little pricey but worth it

**Exploring Foo Luck: A Mixed Bag of Experiences** Foo Luck offers a nostalgic taste of classic Chinese cuisine, boasting generous portions and well-prepared dishes reminiscent of the 80s. Patrons appreciate the shrimp and lobster sauce, packed with egg and ground pork, along with plump, meaty egg rolls and flavorful fried rice. However, experiences can vary, with critiques on service quality and consistency in dish preparation. While some patrons have had disappointing interactions, others praise the restaurant's dedication to traditional flavors. With no delivery fees or alcohol options, Foo Luck remains a local favorite for those craving hearty takeout, waiting eagerly to explore their menu further.

This restaurant is exactly what I was looking for in Chinese cuisine. The food is well-prepared and presented beautifully. The portions are impressive—it's great to know that you can enjoy such high-quality food in generous amounts. I would mention that the dishes have a slightly American twist when it comes to the spices, but it still satisfies. There’s no beer or wine available, but you can choose to sit at a table or dine outside. However, the sushi bar is really good! I definitely plan to return many times.

Foo Luck doesn’t use delivery services like Grubhub or Uber, so you avoid any extra delivery fees. The atmosphere feels nostalgic, reminiscent of old training films. The shrimp and lobster sauce is perfectly balanced—full of ice and ground pork, with no peas or carrots, making it a rare gem among local takeout spots. The egg rolls are generously stuffed and satisfyingly meaty. The fried rice is moist and packed with a hearty amount of pork. The fried dumplings are tasty, with a dipping sauce that’s not too vinegary. This place is a fantastic example of classic Long Island Chinese food, just like I remember from the ’80s. I’m excited to try more dishes!
