Had a couple of beers and a racione for one person. Not too impressed for the price. 9.50 euros, for a tea-plate sized portion of tinned anchovies and small pieces of red pepper, then a euro for bread and 6 euros for the beers. The menu del dia was 11.50 and appeared to be very good value. Worth looking very carefully at what others are having, seemed pretty overpriced but was right in the central square, a tourist magnet.
I came here for dinner with my wife and have to say that i was happily suprised by how good the food was, especially when considering the price. We shared two raciones as starters of which the squid served with aioli was fantastic. However the best dish came second as we tried the lobster and rice dish which was so good but very plentiful. We had a Verdejo white wine with the dish and finished it off with homemade cheescake. The waiter was very attentive and helped us make our desicions (his recommendations all were honest and good) .All in all excellent quality and (considering that we had lobster for two) we finished the meal with wine at under 60 euros. A perfect meal before we went for night time tour of the lovely town.
