One of the bars on El Corro plaza, I often came here this summer for an early evening drink. My kids love the fast food menu : chips, burgers, sandwiches and the platos combinados but they also have the best ice cream. Most people don´t know that the ice cream from campios is made with real milk in a traditional manner and does not use dehydrated powder used by it´s competitor. Ice cream is tastier!
Agreeable location and decent quality but a bit overpriced in our opinion. The churros and chocolate was twice as expensive as the establishment right next door.
An excellent cafe in a fab location for watching 'the world go by '. We 've visited many times during our holiday in Comillas. Coffee is delicious, plenty of choice on the menu, staff are very helpful and friendly. Prices are reasonable it 's a good little find.
Exactly into the kitchen, the cook (she). Walking down the street you can see the tipycal beach bar with chairs and tables in the street. But the Comillas surprise are the good quality of the food, the real taste of the dishes and the hand of the cook for serve from an out of place paella and the impressive cocido montañés (for winter: cooked white beans with a lot of wonderfull things). Looks like only a ice cream shop for summer but the surprise is inside. Of course, the desserts, ice creams and coffee superb!!! Cheers F
We dined here 4 nights out of the 6 nights we stayed in Comillas. The set menu at €11.90 included a bottle of local wine and was very drinkable, choice of about 5 starters, 6 mains and simple sweet, the owners spoke engish and french and had a translated menu which was very helpful. Would recommend them for typical spanish food.
