Feedback
I've walked past this restaurant many times on my way to Vesta and always wanted to stop for lunch or dinner, but I could never find the time. Finally, on October 26, our family made it happen and visited for lunch. There were five of us, and we ordered a variety of dishes, including a Reuben sandwich, a chicken finger platter, a southwest burger, and a hamburger steak. We also got several sides: onion rings, curly fries, fried okra, coleslaw, pasta salad, mozzarella sticks, and a house salad. For dessert, we treated ourselves to Heath bar cake and a selection of cheesecakes, with a few of those delicious desserts packed to go for others in our group. Overall, the food was excellent, although a couple of people mentioned that the dishes were under-seasoned for their tastes. It’s amusing to think that those same diners might complain if the food were over-seasoned! Whatever happened to just reaching for the salt and pepper shakers? I couldn't help but feel like a character from "The Exorcist," giving a disapproving look. Personally, I really enjoyed the Reuben, onion rings, and also tasted the fried okra and coleslaw, all of which were fantastic. Just two days later, I found myself in a lighthearted argument over a larger slice of Turtle Cheesecake with my partner—she ultimately won, of course! The staff were great and attentive during our visit. This is definitely a place worth considering if you're in the area and looking for a good meal. If you see me there, feel free to say hello!
