For two people, two pancakes/a salad/a bottle of AOC cider/a large cream. 36 euros. I highly recommend.

We hadn 't done any research and stumbled on 'La Lanterne ' so went i... read more We were looking for a convenient spot to have a quick bite of lunch 'en route ' to Rennes. We hadn 't done any research and stumbled on 'La Lanterne ' so went in. The restaurant was full of locals and we were given a table in the back area which was near the kitchen but was also full. My wife only wanted a snack so opted for a mushroom and ham galette which she said was excellent, whereas I went for the Jambon with frites and salad. The food was very tasty, the frites being particularly good and piping hot. When the bill came I couldn 't quite believe how cheap it was for a pleasant lunch for two people, coming in at 19 Euros or just over £16. What is there not to like!

Unfriendly boss upon entry. The irony was that after a fall due to a completely broken chair, the bosses didn't care if the person was okay and quickly took the chair away in 1000 pieces. Not even a gesture in offering would be just a drink to the person who collapsed due to a completely broken chair. In addition, the person who fell has disabled legs, yes, disabilities are not necessarily visible. In any case we are not ready to return to this place.!!! Thank you the atmosphere

One day we came for mussels and fries and there the boss seated us, made us eat an aperitif and there were no mussels and fries. Forced to take a pancake and he didn't have the honesty to tell us at the entrance that he had more mussels. Then, it seems like he takes a mocking tone towards us. I don't like it at all. The pancakes are not great for the price, as are the pizzas. We see that it is done in a hurry and the atmosphere leaves something to be desired. I really don't recommend it. Nothing is great in this restaurant.
