Ice Cream Mountain - Colwood

Ice is good, but expensive. It's hard for me to drive.

Hours inaccurate, made the long drive up and they were closed by 6pm with no signage stating why. Total nightmare getting back down the mountain, hard to get to location and disappointment with them being closed. Can't recommend the trip.

Completely met the expectations of our family group of seven visiting from the Seattle area. We were each able to find flavors which satisfied us and the ice cream was very good. The young lady attending the counter was courteous and confident as she took and prepared our orders. Since that is what we expected, Ice Cream Mountain earns a solid three stars. Should we have been disappointed, stars would have been lost. Pleasantly surprising us would have earned an added star or perhaps two. So, don't be fooled by the three star rating. This is a nice little ice cream spot and you will most likely find a great sweet treat here.

Always a local favorite, esp before a ride over the Malahat! Owners very nice folks that work late even into early November! Were 4-5 customers there at 9 30pm tonight on October 15th!
