Best blueberry-white chocolate scone of my life! So fresh and tasty, perfectly crunchy on the edges. University cafeteria, also warm food. Friendly efficient staff, lots of seating. Location great, next to Hatley National Historic Site Park. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Habitat Cafe:
My experience at Habitat Cafe left much to be desired. The food quality was disappointingly low, and the coffee was below average. While the ambiance was decent, the lackluster menu and coffee options were quite underwhelming. I was hoping for a more satisfying dining experience in terms of taste and beverage quality. Please update the hours on Google maps. Visited today at 315pm but not open until 7pm as listed. I have little luck visiting this cafe.
Their hours are brutal considering students are on campus 24/7 for two weeks at a time and they are the only food option overpriced for small portions
Great service, and a good healthy variety on the menu. The food was yummy.Vegetarian options: They have many vegetarian options. Not just salad ?, but other delightful options as well.
Quite a handy little stop with simple but good home cooked food and friendly service. I was skeptical and we searched for decent breakfast options on our drive her from Victoria, but finding none, we arrived at the Habitat Cafe with low expectations and empty bellies which were exceeded and filled, respectively. It is a simple college cafeteria atmosphere, so don’t come here expecting fine dining. The menu was varied, the food fresh and well prepared, and the prices very reasonable. We sat at a corner table with a view over the fields and strait and Olympic mountains, and had the entire place to ourselves. Next time I won’t bother looking for other options on my drive in from Victoria. The nearby gardens are lovely and we spent the better pet of two hours exploring the college grounds after breakfast.
