We ordered dinner for six (our safe six) for my Mother's 85th birthday. We all agreed it was the BEST Chinese Food ever. Very tasty and the S&S pork and Ginger Beef was tender and not over cooked or tough as it often is at other places. Not greasy or too salty. We all enjoyed it very. much and there were lots of leftovers. Excellent food that I would highly recommend....oh and at a very reasonable price! View all feedback.
What Don D doesn't like about Asian Noodle House:
Food was all very greasy and tasted like old rancid oil...sweet and sour tasted like vinegar....very small portions in the dinner for six...can't really say anything good about any of the dishes....why aren't there any good Chinese restaurants in Langford? View all feedback.
We ordered teriyaki and Pad Thai. Bad choices; both Tasted like they’d poured sauce from a bottle. Perhaps the Chinese selections are better
I have lived in multiple places in North America and travel a lot for work. I recently moved back to the Island and ate here as it was the top rated Chinese restaurant in Langford. It was an utter disappointment. The food was terrible, if this is the best of Chinese food in Langford I will make the trip into Victoria to eat at J J Wonton's as the quality of the food is far superior.
Very close to good shopping, and other attraction's like Fort Rod Hill National Park The food is exceptional and price are reasonable The War won Ton is especially delicious Friendly service and food is always ready on time!!
If you are reading this review, you might be like me and have tried EVERY OTHER Chinese place in Langford and been so disgusted by it you've just thrown most of the meal out. It took me 2 years to work up the courage to try this sketchy looking hole in the wall joint that oddly enough constantly has cars pulling up out front to grab their takeaway. Ordered ginger fried beef and beef chow mein. Both excellent quality. Not overly greasy. Ginger fried beef nicely crisp and has a very subtle bite to it that most places miss. I'm only subtracting 1 star because of a bit of lack of selection No seafood past prawns (fish/squid) and no individual combo meals (i.e. dinner for 1). If I could get salt and pepper squid here, and if I could get dinner combo meals for 1 here, this would be a 5 star joint (for what it is, of course, takeout Americanized Chinese food). Oh don't go to eat there. It's not that kind of place. Take it home, eat it, watch a TV show while you drink a beer. You know, what you're supposed to do with takeout Chinese. Lady on the phone was courteous and efficient, and equally so in person when picking up.
Great food every time, little mom and pop restaurant that delivers great food, and decent value for your money, can't say enough good things about this place.
