To our surprise, we were charged an exorbitant bill. We were extremely disappointed and will never return to this restaurant. Be cautious if you are a foreigner as they will rip you off.

With only 3 shacks on the beach, Balton is the largest and offers live music in the evenings, making it unique from the others. The food here surpasses that of shacks in North Goa, impressing us with its quality. While service may be a bit slow due to limited staff, the servers are friendly and accommodating. Overall, with decent food and service, Balton is a recommendable spot for those visiting Utorda beach. We had a positive experience with servers Vishal and Rubal and will definitely return on our next visit to Goa.
