I ordered the vegetable potato dish... read more The location of this restaurant is ideal for us, and I really want to love it, but unfortunately, I was let down this time. I ordered the vegetable potato dish from their new vegan menu. The description promised a medley of vegetables and mushrooms sautéed in white wine, garnished with carrot purée, and topped with a grilled potato for $9.96. What I actually received was rice with onions and peppers, served in some sort of sauce over boiled potatoes. It was nothing like what was described on the menu. Why would I want rice instead of potatoes? Don’t list a dish on the menu if you’re not going to serve it! I am very disappointed.

The staff here has consistently worked incredibly hard to ensure my dining experience is enjoyable. They faced some challenges when management changed, and it was clear the team struggled to keep up. That's just part of the business, but I couldn't help but notice a table in the corner making things even more difficult for them. Despite this, the staff handled the situation with remarkable patience. I would give them five stars solely for their incredible grace under pressure. Also, the bar service is fantastic—definitely take the opportunity to try some drinks!

On a positive note, another member of our group enjoyed a good burger, and we both appreciated the onion rings. I was really hoping for a better experience, as the restaurant’s grounds and building have a nice, secluded charm. I might consider giving it another try in a year or two, particularly if I hear of new management.

W... read more We were there last night for my husbands work Christmas party. We have been there before, and always left disappointed. However, we went in with an open mind. We were in a group of about 33 people in a private room and had 2 waitresses. They brought out the kids food first. That wasn't a big deal expect they waited so long to bring the adults out, kids were done and ready to play. When the prime rib came out it was so raw, I had blood in my baked potato. We were never asked how we wanted it done, maybe because we were in a group? The potato and beans were cold. I had to send back my oldest daughters plate to have it cooked more. The room was completely done eating before her plate was back. I will add the waitress staff was friendly and tried to keep up as much as possible. I have never had a good food experience at this restaurant, we won't eat here again.
