I didnt care for the $15 Something Blue cocktail I ordered and I really didnt care for both the pork tenderloin or the venison, allegedly the best itemson the menu. The pork was overly sweet with apple and the orange sauce on the venison just didnt pair in my opinion. Theportions were very small for the price. Our server also wasnt great. I had to ask about the menu and recommendations. Since Ididnt enjoy my cocktail, I planned to order a Chocolate Martini after dinner. Instead, my plate was cleared and the checkdelivered without even asking if we wanted anything else. This is a want to be fine dining experience in my opinion. I miss theold executive chef and will track him down at his new establishment.

All was great until we got the check and realized I was charged $3 for an ice cube in my glass of whiskey. For that reason we won’t be back.

Our appetizers and entrees were really bland. The renovations are nice and the cocktails were ok. The previous SB’s food was incredible, but none of those classic dishes were on the menu. Seems like a totally different restaurant. Alsothe only restaurant I’ve ever been to where I’ve heard “The chef prefers a full order,” meaning we couldn’t order appsand mains at leisure. Pretentious nonsense.

The cocktail list wasn’t very inspiring, though the Turf Club was a favorite from the list. In the realm of food, everything ordered wasjust “fine” from the Nudi to the Risotto to the Halibut, with the Beets and Burrata being the best of the four. No dessertmenu either. I have many other places try before considering post-COVID Service Bar again, especially for the price.
