I tried the half-pound spare ribs and baby back ribs. The baby backs were more flavorful, especially with the sweet BBQ sauce. The restaurant is open from Thursday to Sunday. The service is consistently friendly and quick.
If you’re eating barbecue in Columbus it’s not at Ray Ray’s, you’re doing it wrong. This place is the best. The brisket, burnt ends pulled pork are so good you’ll think you’ve been transported to Texas or North Carolina.
This was our first time, we drove from Dayton. The food, GREAT and I do mean EVERYTHING! The service was GREAT! They had off brand pop and only Banana Pudding for dessert. If I were in the area I would go again but I would not make a special trip. Keep up the good work Ray Ray's!
This place serves some of the best BBQ in the city! There's a lovely little outdoor area to dine in behind the music hall as well. You really can't go wrong with any of the options on the menu. Just a heads up, the burnt cauliflower ends are usually a hot commodity, so make sure to arrive early to get yours!
I saw this place on Triple D with Guy Fiery and thought we would give it a try. I found out that after our visit, they have multiple locations in the area. We stopped at the original location in Clintonville. It appears all the locations are walkup or drive through. This location is behind a bar called Ace of Cups. The sign said there is seating on the patio or inside. We went inside the bar and there was 1 small Hightop table with 3 barstools. You can get alcohol beverages in the bar, or you can eat on the patio. The food truck has bottled water/ pop. The food is cooked on site. My wife had a brisket sandwich and collared greens. The greens were a little salty. My son had the brisket sandwich, too, and I had the St. Louis ribs with the sweet sauce with a side of baked beans. The sauce and beans both were a little too sweet for me. Everything was delicious and excellent. It's a little expensive, but it is BBQ. I will be back for sure.
