We were greeted by the chef as soon as we arrived at the restaurant. Our anniversary dinner was excellent, with exceptional service that made us feel truly valued.
I decided to call on a whim on a Friday night in hopes of getting reservations, and the gentleman on the phone kindly took my name in case there were any cancellations. Luckily for us, there were! Our server was exceptional - the perfect blend of personable, humorous, and professional. The food was even better, tasting fresh and homemade just like we had hoped for. I highly recommend this place! I am excited to come back and try the rest of the menu!
I had an amazing dining experience at this restaurant! The menu was well-thought-out and the food was delicious. We began with the burrata appetizer and then enjoyed the house salad, which was simple but allowed the flavors of the greens to shine. The lobster ravioli and gorgonzola chicken specials were outstanding, with deep and complex flavors that didn't overshadow the main ingredients. I highly recommend this restaurant for a fantastic dining experience.
Is it fair to be more critical of a high-end restaurant compared to a moderately priced or budget-friendly one? In my opinion, yes. I paid $190 for a dinner for two, including the tip, so I expect close to perfection. However, I felt like they neglected us a bit since we were seated in a corner as a party of two. We noticed that other diners who arrived after us were served bread before us, and my husband had to flag down a server for ours and his wine, which seemed to have been forgotten. The Escargot he ordered was delicious and piping hot, but our salads were overly salty. Our main courses (veal parm and spaghetti for him, and a special pasta dish for me) were enjoyable, although mine arrived lukewarm. While my husband was pleased with his additional wine, coffee, and dessert, I felt that the overall experience fell short considering the high price. Additionally, I found it frustrating that the waiter rushed through reciting the extensive list of specials and desserts, making it difficult to make a decision. Despite my husband's fondness for the cozy atmosphere, I personally did not enjoy the restaurant.
We were just passing through late on a Sunday evening and decided to stop at Pasquale's. The parking lot was full, but we were quickly greeted and seated in a booth with a great atmosphere. Our waitress, Veronica, was friendly and upbeat. We ordered aperol spritzers and delicious meals - my wife had the ziti and I had the veal. Whether you're a local or just passing through, you won't be disappointed if you stop at Pasquale's and order your favorite Italian dish. Bon appétit!
