Ne Chinese - Columbus
Ne Chinese
Description
Tucked into a Columbus neighborhood, this unassuming Chinese restaurant offers a large, affordable menu of authentic and American-Chinese dishes — from cumin lamb and twice-fried fish to salt-and-pepper tofu — with generous portions and reliable takeout. Friendly service and bold flavors earn many repeat visits, though quality can be inconsistent and some guests report opaque billing or unexpected mandatory tips. Great for casual, budget-conscious and adventurous diners who prioritize flavor over fine-dining polish.

Great unassuming small dining room Chinese restaurant. I enjoyed the large menu with some recommended specials and an entire “popular American” dishes section. I had the cumin seed lamb and fried dumplings. Solid all around, took a minute to get used to the cumin seed texture but I loved it and it was done quite well. Will be back to try other dishes.
The food is delicious. The salt and pepper tofu and the fried fish are my favorite along with the bok choy and the Mala or the garlic string beans. Everything I have tried from here is good. A lot of it is cooked spicy. It’s schezuan so it gives you that tingly mouth feel, at first I didn’t know what it was til I googled schezuan peppers.
I ordered the dinner c6 spicy chicken and cilantro with white rice but I didn’t want the spicy sauce so they gave me different type sauce and as I’m eating my second bite to my surprise I can only think this one thing
