Nestled in a cozy corner, Kooma is a hidden gem that delivers high-quality sushi and standout flavors, drawing in enthusiasts from near and far. Diners rave about the exceptional fish quality and delectable rolls, with standout options like the 2012 roll and Greg Roll. However, the experience is marred by inconsistent service; patrons frequently encounter long waits and pushy staff. While prices are on the higher side, the satisfying culinary offerings and ability to accommodate dietary needs make Kooma worth a visit—just be prepared for a potentially lengthy wait. Plus, flexible hours would enhance future visits.

Was Ardath Nash at Kooma Sushi a mag?
Kooma is my top choice for sushi in Columbus! Their Greg Roll is absolutely the best thing I've ever had! The hours are somewhat inconvenient since they close at 2 PM, but it's truly my favorite sushi place! I would definitely visit more often if their hours were more flexible. View all feedback.
What Kelsea Bodnar dislikes about Kooma Sushi:
I recently had some of the best sushi I've tasted in a long time! I would love to give this place a five-star rating, but unfortunately, my server was truly the worst. She didn't engage with me at all and spent an entire hour on her phone, speaking in a loud, aggressive manner. The service was really disappointing, despite the fantastic food. Additionally, my drinks were made incorrectly. View all feedback.

This restaurant was absolutely fantastic! We ordered a large platter of assorted sushi rolls along with sashimi, and not a single piece was left behind. If I find myself in the Columbus area again, I will definitely visit this place once more!
The Bibimbap in a stone pot and the Greg roll are two of my absolute favorite dishes. The service is consistently excellent.
This was the second time we've eaten at Kooma. It surprises me that such a good little sushi shop is hiding there beside a parking garage. Fresh ingredients, expertly prepared, and presented. So good. We even had someone with us that had nevertried sushi and he enjoyed most of the rolls
This restaurant is a little tucked away but worth a visit. It was a chilly night so I wanted something warm and this meal hit the spot. The miso soup was rich in flavor and the hibachi plate was pretty good although the shrimp were pretty overcooked. Thesauce that came with it though was super delicous. I also ordered some eel and sadly by the time it got to me it was quite cold.It seemed like they only had one server for the whole place so the sushi bar got backed up with orders a lot.
