I'm afraid last... read more We've enjoyed Knotty Pine for the past 20 years even with the different changes they have experienced. We love a locally owned place like this. I'm afraid last night will be our last visit though. We arrived around 7:00 on a Tuesday and it was pretty busy (good sign . It took someone ~5 minutes to greet us to get us a table even though there was nobody in line in front of us (hmmm.. . This set the tone for an extremely slow moving dining experience. It appeared there was only one VERY BUSY server having to do everything on the floor for multiple tables. She received a good tip from us even though our dinner was a wipe out. It certainly wasn't her fault. It took 50 minutes for salads, chicken wings and chicken sandwiches to get delivered to our table. The salads didn't come out first and my salad was inedible (I asked for Balsamic Vinaigrette dressing and it appeared someone simply doused it with the Balsamic vinegar and forgot about the oil.. . My smoked chicken wings weren't very flavorful. My wife and son's fried chicken sandwiches were tasty though (according to them . It certainly appeared the place was critically understaffed. Hopefully they can get it straightened out.

As a brewery only 4 beers of their own on tap. Sour was not great. Lots of others breweries beers availablethrough. 4 stars for food, 2 stars for beer.

My family... read more We tried this place for the 1st time this weekend and were very disappointed. My ribs were good and the salad dressing was good and that was about it! My family got French Dip sandwiches and the fish and chips all of which tasted like they had beenreheated a few times so the textures were all wrong. Some parts of the meat and cheese on the sandwich was burnt and so hard itwas inedible. The description (and price! for the French Dip sounded really good and special--there was nothing special aboutthis sandwich; the meat was dry and flavorless. Even the fries were not good--not crispy AT ALL and their color looked like theyhave not changed their fryer oil in a while. Very poor quality food for what the bill came out to.
