We visited on a Thursday afternoon and found it to be very quiet. Our bartender, Abby, was fantastic. The drink selection was excellent, and we had a wonderful time.
This restaurant is impressively clean and modern! I can't believe we walked in at 5 PM on a Saturday night and were the only customers there. The drinks and food were fantastic! The bartender was incredibly friendly, which made the experience even better. I really encourage people to leave the crowded spots nearby and give this place a try!
We were attending the Art Walk and we found ourselves in the Julep for a quick drink. The wait staff was friendly and attentive. We decided to try some appetizers and I was so happy that we did. We had the loaded fries, trash can nachos, red beet hummus and bacon strips. (see pictures). Everything was amazing. We were fighting over the bacon strips. The beet hummus was so delicious. I can't wait to go back and try some other items.
I had a dinner reservation at this establishment, but when I arrived, it felt more like a loud bar than a restaurant. This is definitely not a place that should be listed on OpenTable for reservations. There was only one person working the entire bar at 6:30 PM, and one of the tables in the 'restaurant' area was stacked with empty White Claw cans. While that might be acceptable in a bar setting, it's not what you'd expect when you're looking to have dinner. Unsurprisingly, we decided to go somewhere else. This is not a suitable place for dinner! On a positive note, Arch City was great. I would gladly have given this place a zero if that option were available!
