We always try to support Restaurant Week, but this year with all the COVID craziness and its impact on so many businesses especially local food service establishments we hit a few spots, including Hubbard Grille.It was a perfect weather night and we were able to take advantage of the restaurant's recent expansion to outdoor dining. What User doesn't like about Hubd Grille:
eating is good. we had the hangar steak. that had to be sent back. it was overcooked. the portions were a little small and the bar service was slow. but the cocktails were very good, and the appetizers were very good. one of our guests had the hamburger, which was in order, but the bungalow was dry as in old. My husband had been in/out of the hospital and l felt we needed a date night. I looked up some spots and Hubbard Grille caught my attention.
I canât say the food was good or bad the type of food you will find in many places so you wonât remember. Highlight: The specialty cocktail is spectacular. The noise is crazy high on a Friday night. I need to stress my voice to let my partner hear me. Another thing I donât understand is, the server of the night asked us about the food 5-6 times and we only stayed for about 45 minutes.
Can get very loud so not good for large parties or an intimate dinner, but overall good for casual small groups
We had a great dinner that celebrated a birthday! the food and the service were great!
Delicious food! Our server was very friendly and excellent. I was very pleased.
