What User doesn't like about Figlio:
our server was pretty friendly, but that was something of a disappointment. we are great fans of vino vino, but it has brought together with figlio since kovid. Despite the menu displayed on the website, there is not much vino vino menu here. I had the parmesan lemon chicken that was good, but not from this world. my man had the garnel and pasta speciality he enjoyed. we both liked the foccacia and the diving oil. View all feedback.
I visited this restaurant during Columbus's Restaurant Week 2022 and I was completely blown away! From the outside, it appears to be a small restaurant with a small bar, but once inside, it is actually quite spacious yet intimate. The decor is beautiful and the weeping wall is absolutely stunning. My waiter, Tim, was fantastic. I tried the three-course meal, starting with a refreshing and delicious Spinach/Arugula salad. For the main course, I had the chicken roasted in a red pepper cream sauce pasta which was incredibly flavorful and perfectly portioned. My date had the prosciutto and artichoke pasta, which was also delicious. For dessert, we had tiramisu which was delightful and the best crème brûlée I have ever had! I will definitely be returning for the ambiance, the incredible staff, the delicious pasta, the fantastic wine, and the outstanding crème brûlée. I highly recommend this restaurant. P.S. The bread is also fantastic!
This restaurant offers an exceptional dining experience. Every ingredient, from the bread and dipping oil to the pasta sauce, shrimp, parmesan, and tomatoes (especially noteworthy for their exceptional flavor in a world of bland, water-filled tomatoes), was of top quality and had a homemade feel. The atmosphere was cozy, warm, and stylish, with excellent control over the noise level in the restaurant. I would give this restaurant a perfect 10 out of 10 rating.
I really enjoy the soup at this restaurant! It comes in a standard cup for $7 and is delicious. The restaurant is consistent with its comforting Italian cuisine and is conveniently located. The portion size of the soup is a bit small, but I still like it. One thing that bothers me is that the owners do not respond to reviews and do not seem to care about customer feedback. Also, they charge for pickup orders, which is uncommon for most places with takeout bags. It would be nice if they offered online ordering to make the process more efficient. Additionally, they do not allow any changes to the menu items, which can be frustrating. Lastly, I wish they would stop wrapping their bread in plastic for environmental reasons. They also removed one of my favorite dishes from the menu, the red pepper linguine with crab in the soup. I agree with other reviews about the pizza, but I hope Figlio takes customer feedback into consideration in the future.
My family and I visited this restaurant for the first time a few days ago and we were extremely impressed with our meal, dessert, and the fantastic waitress, Julia! She provided great recommendations and we thoroughly enjoyed all of our dishes. We will definitely be returning in the future.
I hadn't visited the Grandview location in years, but with the UA location now closed for construction, it was my only option. The atmosphere felt a bit more cramped than I remember, but the food was still classic Figlio - consistently outstanding from the bread and dipping oil to every entree.
