Description

Tucked at the Broad and High intersection in downtown Columbus, this casual taqueria serves fresh, affordable street-style tacos, standout guacamole and flavorful steak and birria options. Bright, clean and fast-moving, it offers multiple ordering routes (kiosks, counter, GrubHub), grab-and-go seating with city views and TVs. Staff are friendly and efficient, though pickup signage and layout can be confusing. Expect limited parking and somewhat inconsistent posted hours; ideal for students and lunch crowds seeking quick, satisfying Mexican fare.

The $2 traditional tacos on Tuesdays and Saturdays is what you need. Delicious Quesadilla. Great spot speedy service.

As we walked in, we spotted order kiosks and, thinking it might be a ghost kitchen or something similar, we started entering our orders. After placing our orders, we followed some voices to what we assumed was the waiting area. To our surprise, we found ourselves in a full restaurant with an order line and a cashier. We were a little confused about how the pickup worked—whether we’d be called or needed to let the cashier know we were there. After taking our seats, a friendly staff member soon brought out our food trays. I ordered a flour street taco along with another taco that I think was pork. Both were quite tasty—not extraordinary, but definitely enjoyable. The pico de gallo was fresh and delicious, which I appreciated. If I'm in that part of downtown again and the other taco place has a long line, I would definitely give this spot another chance.

Walking into the building can be confusing as to which way to go. Thank goodness I had friends with me who had been there before. The staff was friendly and tried to be as quick as possible. I ordered the Birria Tacos and Guacamole with chips. If you've never had Birria before then these are for you. However, since I've had Birria elsewhere they were just average tacos. The consumé was more oily than soupy. Honestly, the best part was the Guacamole. After driving around for 20 minutes to find a parking spot, I was glad to have a decent meal.
