A great small town Cafe. People were awesome and very friendly. Food was very good!
Cheap food made fresh.
So first of all I went to 2 other restaurants along my travels amd both of the restaurants had a long wait. We walked into this establishment lucky to find absolutely nobody in the restaurants. The small sign which I did not see said wait to be seated. I walked in and thought I'd seat myself. The other people in my party saw the sign and were waiting. I soon noticed them standing there and asked what was going on. They informed me that sign said wait to be seated. As the rude waitress walked out and said to my waiting party...thank you for reading the sign. so I stood up and walked over to my party and waited for her to go collect the menus and seat us. She proceeds to walk out group over to the exact table I just stood up from. remember there's absolutely nobody in this restaurant. she handed out the menus only to thank each person personally and individually except me. one person in my party said as she walked away...well she's gonna hold a grudge! At that time the waitress turned around and said we'll yes it's just rude to seat yourself when the sign is right there. I immediately got up and walked out. I'm so proud of myself for not lowering myself to her pathetic level of decency.
Ham cheese with tots was delicious
Food was great! But the guys weren’t too fond of the hashbrowns other than that the best chicken fried steak they’ve had. The omelet was amazing (mexibear). Service was excellent the waiter was super nice and took care of us right away.. atmosphere was great other than John sayin the lighting was a little dim but he had sunglasses on halfway through the meal. Would definitely eat there again! Pricing was kind of high though.
