I like the restaurant as I had very delicious Thai food in Columbia. The staff are also really nice. But, what I dislike is that I waited half an hour to get my food. Moreover, the chefs forgot to put sauce on my friend 's plate. Drunken noodle is really good and I recommend it.
Chim's is the best Thai food in the area. When they say everything is good they mean it. I have been quite a few times and always get at least 1 thing new and it is always really good. I have yet to find something on the menu that I don't like. It's family owned and run and they are always extremely helpful and courteous. We drive about 40+ minutes to eat hear and I don't plan on stopping.
It's a really nice place to eat, they have a spicy scale, be careful because it's really spicy (and I love spicy food)
I've ordered from here a few times over the past two weeks and really enjoy the Duck with Red Curry. I want to order a few other things on the menu but can't seem to do that knowing how good the red curry is over the rice...YUM! My only complaint is that it's sometimes hard to find parking close to Chim's since it's downtown, but it's worth the walk from a distant parking spot for sure.
The Thai food was nothing special. The pad thai lacked a unique flavor. The sweet and sour fish was alright. We had to order a different fish as they did not have our preferred choice. What I really disliked was the calamari. The batter that was used made it extremely oily. The calamari also did not have a fresh taste to it.
