Tequila's Mexican Groll - Columbia

We ordered the beef and chicken nachos and fresh guacamole. Our other meal was a plain hamburger accompanied by French fries and a house salad with ranch dressing. The hamburger and fries were acceptable, but the ranch dressing was watery and had an overly acidic flavor. It was terrible. The nachos were so soggy on the bottom that they were inedible. The cheese dip, which was supposed to complement the beans and meat, was so runny that the cheese flavor was non-existent. The hamburger was tasteless, and the chicken was tough and stringy. The guacamole had an overwhelming amount of cilantro and lime, completely masking any taste of avocado, and we even found small pieces of green pepper mixed in. Our server took our order and brought our drinks but was mostly absent during our meal, only stopping by to drop off food at other tables. When he finally brought the check, he must have noticed we hadn't eaten, yet he didn’t say anything and quickly left again. While I understand that the restaurant can get busy at times, more attentiveness would have been appreciated. He didn’t return to take our payment, so we ended up paying at the hostess stand as we were leaving. When she asked how our dinner was, we shared our experience, and she simply said “oh” before walking away. I had to give a star to post this review, but the only thing I liked about the restaurant was the atmosphere. I will not be returning, nor would I recommend this place to anyone.

We visited this restaurant for the first time, and we had a fantastic experience! My husband ordered the Cowboy T-Bone Steak, which was not only delicious but also wonderfully spicy and quite large! I chose Oscar's Fajitas and enjoyed every single bite. The Bloody Marys were refreshing as well. We also tried the cheese dip and shared the Fried Ice Cream for dessert. There were so many of our favorite dishes on the menu that we can't wait to come back soon!

We were traveling south and decided to stop in for dinner. I really enjoyed the carne asada, while my wife and son polished off their plates of enchiladas. Even the frozen margarita was quite good. As a Texan, I found it very appealing. The staff was wonderful, and we chatted a bit in Spanish. The food was served hot and promptly. There was also live entertainment—though I didn’t catch his name, the musician did an excellent job. I’d like to come back and try more items from the menu. I definitely recommend this place as a fantastic spot to enjoy a meal.

Hands down the best Mexican food I've ever had. I travel all over the US for my job. Eaten at many Mexican restaurants. But this place was exceptional. The food was great. The service was amazing. When the place is packed on a Sunday afternoon (andit wasn't the after church crowd) you know its gonna be good! And it was. I can hardly wait to return and will make it a pointto go back when I'm in the area again.
