We usually go to the Sarku Japan locations in Southeast Florida. We were thrilled to find this place on a trip. Despite the long line and long wait, the food was just a tasty as usual. Stop for a quick bite when you are in the area, you will not be disappointed. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Sarku Japan:
I've had nothing but bad experiences during my recent visits. I refused to order food an hour before graduation, and today, being New Year’s Day, I expected to wait a few hours. I checked the mall's website which stated that they would open at 10 a.m. on New Year’s. I arrived at 12:30, and nothing happened. There was a worker in the back, and perhaps they told me later that food would be made. View all feedback.
We visit this restaurant nearly every time we go to the mall. Today, when I ordered beef and rice, the guy had already added extra sauce on top. I asked if it was mine, and he confirmed it. I explained that I didn't want the extra sauce. He replied that they don't put it on while it cooks. I mentioned that I've ordered here many times before and they've always asked if I wanted extra sauce. He insisted he knew what he was doing. Then he asked if I wanted a new one, to which I said yes. He said it would take a bit longer and gestured for me to sit down. I reminded him that we were still waiting for my daughter's meal, and he put chicken on her order. I told him there was no need to be upset, and he claimed he wasn't, but I could hear it in his voice. I took my daughters to our table and stood by while he cooked my food. He called me back to let me know my meal was ready. I thanked him and left.
I'm not sure what went wrong with this place. It used to be fantastic, but now it seems they're more focused on riding the wave of popularity than maintaining quality. I've been there a couple of times recently, and on one Sunday, I waited in an incredibly long line. Unfortunately, the food just isn't as good as it used to be, and it seems like the customers don't mind either way. It’s casual and definitely overhyped, and they've noticeably cut back on portion sizes compared to what you used to get. I ordered a soda, and it was practically a sugary explosion—the lid was leaking, and I ended up spilling it all over myself while trying to clean up in line. Charging extra for the mayo-based sauce is a bit ridiculous, especially since they don't even provide one for free. They want 50 cents for a cup of mayo mixed with soy sauce?

I spent 43.29 for 3 dinners just now and I'm not sure how or why our food including the egg rolls were actually cold. ,not upset until they rolled their eyes and basically had a rude demeanor to my asking simply to reheat our food. I am extremely disappointed with the service and lack of hospitality to try to fix a simple problem.
