Food smelled AMAZING....we waited for 20 min for someone to help us...multiple tables came in after us and were helped....felt very discriminating since they were all Indian and we are not. I love that Persis Biryani has a separate vegetarian menu which makes ordering vegan much easier- obviously watch out for ghee, paneer, and cream. We ordered 5 different curries and the samosa appetizer all vegan! The cashew curry was maybe the best curry I’ve EVER had! Medium spice has a good kick to it, and even mild had a little spice, so if ordering for children definitely get the baby mild spice level. We will definitely be back! Things we ordered vegan: samosa, daal tadka, Malabar veggie curry, shahi kaju (cashew curry), aloo gobi, baingan bharta (eggplant curry), plain roti. All curries came with rice. I also asked about gobi Manchurian and chana masala was told they were vegan.

Taste was good. I think spring rolls were frozen and then fried. chhola bhatura was good. noodle was okay. the service can be improved, need to ask for water.

It tells them a lot about a restaurant when the room is filled with people of the same culture as the restaurant. this is the case every time we go to persis! eating is great. I'm ready to bring the buffet back! I love to try some new dishes to see if I like them, but I understand covid interrupting the buffet.
