My Alice Spring... read more Our bread and appetizer came out first. I specifically asked for my own bread and honey butter, but it ended up being the last thing I received. My Alice Springs chicken was served with very burnt mushrooms, and after waiting until closing for my meal, I had to send it back. The cook really shouldn’t have let that leave the kitchen. Additionally, the loaded potato was not actually loaded, and like I mentioned, I didn’t receive my bread and honey butter until I was nearly done with my meal. After having a rough day, I just wanted to enjoy a nice meal. It's clear that restaurants are struggling to find quality staff, and tonight’s experience has made me reconsider dining out for a while.

Outback Steakhouse has significantly declined from its former glory, and I genuinely don’t understand why I keep coming back. They seem to be everywhere, which makes it convenient. I often think to myself, “Maybe this time will be different, and they won’t completely ruin it.” However, unfortunately, every time I’ve ordered anything from Outback Steakhouse in the past ten years, it has been a letdown. Do yourself a favor and opt for Texas Roadhouse instead. They still prioritize quality, and their steaks are far superior to the bland, gray dishes that Outback tries to pass off as steak.

Every order was spot-on, and she made sure to check in on us frequently, despite the restaurant being quite busy. We all enjoyed a fantastic lunch, especially my 94-year-old grandfather. I opted for the 12 oz portion priced at $24.99 instead of the 16 oz, and it was a generous, thick cut. The meal comes with two sides, and the tangy tomato dressing on the side salad adds a wonderful zing. I also tried the Blueberry Lavender Lemonade ($7), which was a refreshing drink, even though I'm not usually a fan of lemonade. I can’t wait to return for the medium rare Prime Rib, served with creamy horseradish and Au Jus—everything was cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. I highly recommend this dish! We showed up about 10 minutes early and were seated right away. We both chose the prime rib and shared a Bloomin' Onion starter. Fortunately, we didn’t have to wait, but that was really the only positive aspect of our experience. There was no clean silverware available, and we had to wait an additional 45 minutes just to receive the silverware and a bit of bread. Once we finally got to place our orders, the real issues began. I ordered the strip and wings, and I’m not exaggerating when I say that the wings looked like they were meant for Tweety Bird.
