Once again, we enjoyed a delicious and beautifully made cake at this restaurant. The original family who made my special cake 40 years ago also created our anniversary cake for us. View all feedback.
What PATRICIA H doesn't like about Motta's Pastry Bake Shop:
I have been a customer for the last year at Motta's. I went to the bakery the Saturday before Easter and it was very busy. there was a line and I found the end of the line. I waited in line for 15 minutes not realizing one was supposed to take a number like at the deli. The woman behind me jumped in front of me when her number was called. I spoke up and politely said I was in front of her. the older woman behind the... View all feedback.
I'm never disappointed at Motta's. From sweets to grinders, to pizza and breads. Your everything bakery. It's like walking into heaven....
They have the best eclairs around, they are delicious.
I little expensive but worth every penny if I could afford it I would buy all of it in there it was so hard to pick everything they have is so yummy definitely try as much as you can you won't regret it. They also have hot food as well can't wait to stop in and get some pizza and some more pastries.
Really really really good bakery. If you have no or weak self-control, do not go to this bakery. This is where the mighty go to fall before the cannoli.
It’s unfortunate that I’m writing this because I’ve always loved going to Mottas. After a stressful COVID experience where we had to cancel my daughters birthday trip, I decided to throw her a small party with a few friends. I called Mottas to have a small cake made and whoever I talked to was rude, impatient, and genuinely seemed like she didn’t want to help or even have the time of day to help me find something that would actually work for what I needed. For my daughters trip, I had ordered a cake where we were going and unfortunately had to cancel it since we could no longer go. The cake I had ordered for our trip was a small, 6inch, cannoli flavored, horse-themed cake. When I called Mottas, I gave her the exact same info and she said “we don’t do themes for cannoli cakes”, “we don’t do themes for 6in cakes”, even though i see picture on their site with themed smaller cakes. Instead of providing suggestions, she just told me what they can’t do.Then, to top it off, a very “professional” Santo Paul Jr. (who coincidentally works at Mottas) decided to laugh at a post on the local page of me asking for local bakers, while requesting that the suggestions not be Mottas.Seems like professionalism doesn’t run in this family, and, from their actions and attitude, they must not even be Italian, because any true Italian would never treat customers like that and would have at least a little thicker skin than Santo Paul Jr.
