I normally don't leave reviews for restaurants but this place was EXCELLENT! Came here for my birthday with a reservation for ten people. Wonderful brunch service by our waitress Leah! She was friendly and attentive! But french press coffee arrived cold. The cocktail we ordered from the menu wasn’t made correctly according to what the menu indicated. The food was either undercooked (bacon), dry (biscuits) or needed salt (all egg entrees). My sister and I enjoyed brunch together on the patio, which offered a lovely view of the golf course and trees.
I live in NYC, where we are lucky enough to have some of the best restaurants- I read some of the negative reviews and people are honestly over-criticizing.
We visited The Turn House on Tuesday for Happy HourWhen we arrived there really was just one other person at the bar with us.
The shrimp appetizer was underwhelming and the pizza was soggy, but the truffle fries were delicious. The service was fantastic, however the overall food quality was lacking. My husband and I had a good experience during happy hour and brunch, so I was looking forward to bringing my daughter here for dinner. It was decent, but there is definitely room for improvement in various aspects.
Really enjoyed everything! Very fresh, great flavor and attentive service, we will definitely go back!
