Contribute FeedbackThe restaurant in question appears to have had a mix of positive and negative reviews. While some diners praised the friendly service and great food, others were dissatisfied with undercooked or burnt dishes, slow service, and menu items frequently being unavailable. The overall consensus seems to be that the restaurant has potential with great options and a good atmosphere, but they may need to work on consistency and addressing recurring issues. With a focus on improving customer service and kitchen quality control, the establishment could elevate its dining experience to match its welcoming environment and diverse menu.
We’ve been here before a couple years prior and it was a great place for lunch. They used to have an awesome Happy Hour with about a couple dozen craft brews to choose from. Food was ok. General bar food, but the kicker is we went to the bar while waiting for friends to arrive and about fell off the bar stool when the drink bill came. I had a VooDoo Ranger draft $11.45 paint bf Happy Hour discount $1 off) and my husband had a Hazy IPA $8.45) draft. Needless to say, with all the other options The Warehouse BBQ Bar Grill) two miles down the road, we will not be back.
I usually order to go. On occasion, the Tavern Cut pizza is not hot when I pick it up. This time I kept getting a prompt saying that one of the ingredients or side dishes was not available. After trying to correct the order as per directions, I called, to discover that the dough wasn’t available. The prompt should have indicated that instead of instructing me to remove the order and resubmit it. Otherwise the food was good and the staff brought it to the car even though I had indicated that I would come in to pick it up.
This was our 2nd visit to BJs and we were hoping for a repeat of a great previous stop. We are not from the area and after a stop over in Albany last year, we decided to try a familiar place. Unfortunately, this 2nd visit was a dud. We sat at the bar and ordered dinner and it seemed our servers lost interest when we chose non alcoholic beverages. The menu is varied, but the jambalaya was cold and my wife’s med well burger was close to a hockey puck. We didn’t send anything back; too much of an effort to get a bartenders attention. There are better choices in the area.
BJ’s is a great establishment! The food is delicious and the beer is great! I am a fan of both BJ’s Golden Pilsner and their Hopstorm IPA. Their couscous mac and chees bites are delicious too!Food: 5/5
Slow service. Request for help ignored, dirty table settings and poor food
