The food at this restaurant is truly delicious, with an incredible taste that stands out. Another aspect I loved was the presentation of the dishes—it enhances the overall experience and allows you to fully enjoy the meal, connecting your senses and emotions to the moment. The service is also outstanding, with personal attention that showcases the chef's skills. Overall, this place is among the best. View all feedback.
What Alex Z doesn't like about Azul:
Really not impressed with this placed named “authentic” Mexican food. It’s more a fusion Mexican with very high price point with mediocre food. The space is cute in a little garden surrounded by greens. We shared the taco for appetizer. It’s very basic nothing better than street taco. The main I had a fish dish, it’s basically the fish in Marianna sauce but it was listed as an Mexican traditional food. Very disappoin... View all feedback.
Incredible food! The roast duck fritters and mole were amazing, as was the tres leches with rum. Also recommend the Mexican rose
Excelente lugar para compartir un antojó y un buen trago
I had Guac with grasshopper here for the first time and it tastes great. The fish is also very good. Love her ambience and dishes.
Probably one of the best restaurants in Mexico City. Azul is a beautiful restaurant serving traditional Mexican dishes with stunning presentation. This is not your average meal; it is a spectacular culinary experience. If you are looking for delicious gourmet food, don't look further. Here is what I tried: Appetizer: “panuchos de cochinita pibil” handmade corn tortillas filled with black beans, with Cochinita pibil (marined, slowly roasted pigs) and pickled red onions; so good! entrée: “pipipián rojo vegano” red sauce from sesame seeds, pumpkin seeds and Guajillo Chiles served over goats; “buñuelos de pato rostizado” fritters filled with roasted duck, topped with Oaxacan black mol sauce, served over slices of zucchini and blackberries that melt in the mouth; Hands down the best dish I tried, I was blown away from the flavors and textures of this plate. Drink: “agua de horchata conco” a sweet drink of rice, milk, vanilla, cinnamon and coconut; tasty, but very full. Dessert: “mousse de guanabana con zapote” Soursop mousse with sapote sauce; a really delicious dessert with two fruits that are often found in Mexican desserts. Dessert: “pastel de tres leches con rompope” tres leches cake in Einog sauce; not my favorite, but a decent dessert.
Service was amazing. Presentation was all very delicious with the food. Also recommend their cocktails.
