One of the Sri Lankan vegetarian restaurant in Colombo. These one is a favorite for expatriate in town. They cook good and they serve the fresh food good.
Pretty average food i would say. Place is a little on to the less clean side, so i definitely wouldn’t recommend a family meal here. But for a couple of guys or someone on a tight budget this place is okay. Their pre made Minchi Sambal and the other curry on the side of the Minchi were stale and im pretty sure that you should not eat any of that. The paper dosai and the Sambaru curry are quite alright.. the Ulundu wade, well they are okay, nothing too special about them. They have lots of sweets and even the sago drink outside on display at a counter right at the entrance. This although appetizing, had so many flys inside! Immediate dissappointment. Hygiene wise, this place would be 4.5/10 Food maybe 6.5/10 Price 8/10 Its really cheap and well filling too! Would not go too often, but then for the occasional quick cheap bite, would go here. Thanks
We had lunch at Amirthaa Vegetarian Restaurant. They offer unlimited meals for just Rs. 380, which includes rice, curry, rasam, vadai, payasam, and moor. Everything is included in the price. The food was tasty and the price is very reasonable. Highly recommended! I’m fully satisfied with the taste and service. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
