Acropol - Colombo

We are regular guests at this restaurant, but we were disappointed with the level of service we received. We ordered three different shawarmas, nasigoreng, and ginger beer. After waiting for about 40 minutes, we were served the shawarmas but the soup was forgotten and then brought to us cold. We were told that the nasigoreng was on its way. When it finally arrived, my wife and kids had already finished their shawarmas. Despite the service mishaps, we still ate our food and asked for the bill, reminding the waiter about the missing ginger beer. Unfortunately, the waiter did not apologize for the mistakes or delays. It seemed like the manager was unaware of what was happening in the restaurant.

Nothing to complain about the food. Everything is pretty good. The only suggestion is to take reservations in order when the place is crowded as some people don't care about the people waiting and try to find a sitting.

Over crowded but poor customer management. many dishes are not authentic, poor presentation, poor texture. taking very long time to prepare ordered meals, taking nearly to minutes....

The beef kebab plate and the chicken shawarma plate were justifying the Arabic cuisine. Yet I found the Tom yum seafood soup too spicy. The interior was pleasing. We had to wait for a long time to grab a seat. It's quite crowded on holidays and weekends.

Good food, but from kitchen to table they took a very long time plus it was not even a busy day just few other people were there. Other than that everything was good and definitely value for money.
