In my experience, they also immediately asked about dietary restrictions and allergies before making their recommendation. My mother and I were recommended the “Madre,” which was on theme with that name, was absolutely one of the best new things I’ve eaten in a while, and the food was easily split between us with leftovers to take home. She just laughed and said yes. Update 7/13/24: Went to try their ice cream. Great selection of some really interesting flavors. Got a 2 scoop cup of toasted coconut and tres leches. Wife got a 2 scoop waffle cone of cookies cream and tres leches. Really delicious, high quality ice cream! But very expensive $17. This spot is a local gem and if you haven’t been there, you’re missing out. Not only are the flavors of ice cream unique and delicious, but the staff is just wonderful. We got to meet the owner, Jorge, who is such a kind and sweet man. All the flavors are house-made! Jorge is an ice cream genius when it comes to flavors. 10/10 would recommend any day!
