Even with my girlfriend's various allergies, the owne... read more We ate out last night, outside our usual area (Remagen am Rhein , and received a wonderfully warm welcome. Even with my girlfriend's various allergies, the owner was incredibly helpful and took plenty of time for us, despite the restaurant being quite busy. Typical Greek hospitality, just like I remember from my holidays in Thassos: friendly, helpful, and easygoing. The restaurant was very clean and modern – not your typical run of the mill place, which is unfortunately all too common. The meat and sauces are made in house, not from cans or wholesalers. My only regret is that I ordered pizza instead of gyros, because it looked absolutely delicious : We'll definitely try it next time. Thank you so much for the thorough advice and the time you took for us. That's not something you can take for granted anymore and deserves an extra star in itself. Best regards, Ines and Marcel

A four-year-old child was yelled at so hars... read more The owners are incredibly friendly and welcoming, even in stressful situations, with the exception of the waitstaff. A four-year-old child was yelled at so harshly for not finishing her meal that everyone present stopped talking. I told him to stop this tirade against my granddaughter, only to be yelled at by the man himself, who said he would only give her one fry next time. Absolutely outrageous! I waited in vain for the owners to intervene. I've witnessed this man's rudeness towards customers on several occasions and I don't understand why there are no consequences for him. We will definitely not be served by him again. The food is a bit inconsistent, but that's perfectly fine, as much of it is homemade, and that can happen. Unfortunately, the gyros and fries are of poor quality. I've tried them several times, though not on-site. The pasta, bifteki, etc., are very tasty. The atmosphere is fantastic for a chip shop. It's always packed, so you should book a table in advance. Unfortunately, this high demand seems to be a disadvantage for the owners, as they don't rely on individual customers and don't respond to complaints. Pride becomes no one!
