Nice food and lovely hospitality, I will being coming back. Variations are possible with the menu: I asked for lettuce instead of potatoes with my meat. It was no problem at all.
A welcome refuge on a bitterly cold day. We had an excellent lunch from a menu with hearty peasant dishes such as pig's cheek, rabbit casserole and ham hock. It was reasonably priced with a good bottle of Rioja costing just 8 euros.
Enjoyable evening, great if you love your meat! The local dishes are an acquired taste so make sure you know what you are ordering! The portions are good and the house wine was excellent. 8 of us were stuffed to overflowing and the bill was €140 which included drinks, 2 bottles wine and 4 coffees. Antonio is an excellent host and nothing is too much trouble!
Spacious dining room and double outside dining area. Although very quiet for a Monday evening there was a warm and friendly atmosphere. Our comfort was important to the host who ensured that we had enough sun/shade during our meal. The excellent food was freshly cooked and well presented. Our host explained the wine list with obvious knowledge. We were given after meal liqueurs on the house. We have been there before for lunch and dinner and have always found it an excellent venue.
