Was Anonym at Watters a mag?
I've recently moved into the area and treat myself every Friday to dinner. This week I had a curry and It was absolutely beautiful. I make a point of ordering something different every week and I've yet to be disappointed. There is a huge variety of gluten free food available which is vital to me. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming and I cant complain about the service. Well done to the chef and staff. Keep the goo... View all feedback.
What Anonym dislikes about Watters:
This restaurant offers a basic carvery with overcooked options. The staff are helpful and willing to provide extra portions of the customer's favorite items. The experience is reminiscent of a traditional Sunday dinner from the 1980s. While it may not be my preference, I will still give it 3 stars as I understand that this type of food is popular with many patrons. View all feedback.

Possibly one of Collon Village best kept secrets as it’s all word of mouth with little or no advertising done but it works as over 20years it has consistently improved always serving local quality food at very reasonable prices. Caters for all occasions and ideally situated on the N2 with its own car park and on street parking there’s nothing not to like
Well to tell you the truth we were there at a funeral so it was a quite time, sorry I have not much to say apart from the service was very good and I was very impressed with our time there,
Place is nice and cosy, food is okay with big portions. Staff is lovely! Good place to have lunch.
Lovely food and atmosphere, we went for evening dinner, when we arrived it was quiet but it got busy as the evening went on, Food was lovely, tasty, very generous size portions. Desert was lovely. I got a lovely expresso martini, it was delish. Would like to come back for Lunch too. Would reccommend.

We always love this place for food but I have to say that the smell of oil fumes can be overpowering at times. Even in warm weather it's there and I notice a pellet stove up further which cannot cause the fumes. I also notice that nobody from the establishment doesn't answer reviews which Imust say is not very business like.
I went on a date here in august and it was possibly one of the best experiences of my life , we were greeted by a young keen gentleman who had just finished his leaving cert , he was generous and and attentive while attending to our needs. The service he gave was admirable and the food was even better ! The Guinness was top notch! We chose a convenient time as our waiter had informed us that we had just missed the lunch time rush . We will soon be back and hope to be greeted with a smile on the same young mans face ! I would recommend the sault and chilly chicken !
The good food and libations of your choosing lend energy to what I have already entitled the review of Alan Feathers) s most exceptional establishment of human fun, conversation and sustenance. The friendliest pub in the friendliest village in Ireland.
Can't recommend Watters highly enough Great food friendly staff and as good a pint (Guinness) as you'll find anywhere Make it your local We have
I stopped by Watters of Collon last Friday. It had been about three years since my last visit, and it was just as good as I remembered. There was only one waitress with blonde hair managing around ten full tables and the bar, yet she was incredibly quick and efficient. She was very friendly and helpful. The food was excellent, and we had no complaints. I’ll definitely be returning more often.

This pub is the best in town! I am visiting from Australia and I have to say it is a lovely pub. The staff is great, especially Mary who is amazing. The meals are delicious and the atmosphere is fantastic. I highly recommend this place, it is a must-visit while in Ireland!
I was lucky enough to win a voucher from a Facebook competition, which was very kind of the owner. I am very grateful. I took my two sons to eat at the restaurant this evening and the food was delicious. The quality of the food was excellent and the service was friendly. I highly recommend Watters of Collon for a meal. We will definitely be returning. Thank you, Lisa.
