I love authentic- Mexican food, as opposed to Americanized-mexican food. This is as good as I've seen yet in MS. Worth the ride!! Very hospitable people. Beautiful restaurant. Great drinks. We visited this restaurant on Saturday night, just the two of us. We were greeted promptly and seated within three minutes. We shared the loaded queso and an enchilada platter featuring three enchiladas—one beef, one cheese, and one shredded chicken. The beef and chicken enchiladas were excellent; however, the cheese one was a bit disappointing, resembling just a rolled tortilla with a slice of cheese inside. On the bright side, we loved the chips and salsa. The salsa had a nice thickness to it, offering more than just a watery tomato flavor, and the chips were crisp and delicious. I wasn't particularly fond of the margarita I ordered, but the bartender kindly suggested adding a shot of tequila and lime juice, which improved it significantly. The service was exceptional. We enjoyed our experience so much that we considered returning on Sunday, only to find out they are closed that day. I highly recommend this restaurant!
