Contribute FeedbackThe restaurant received mixed reviews, with multiple patrons expressing disappointment in the limited menu and lackluster service. Some guests found the meals to be average and overpriced. However, others raved about the delicious food and friendly service, mentioning standout dishes like the mushroom soup, cannelloni, and tiramisu. The atmosphere was praised for being lively and enjoyable, with special mentions of the $1 corkage fee on Tuesdays. Overall, while some diners were left underwhelmed by their experience, others had a pleasant and satisfying meal at Azzurra and expressed a desire to return.
This was my first time visiting this refined bistro. The staff were welcoming, and the ambiance was open, casual, and elegant.
Fantastic restaurant choice in the heart of downtown Collingwood.
The restaurant is nice. The service is not great at all. The chairs are old and uncomfortable. We are not from the area. So we found this from GPS. We were seated by a lady with tattos on her arm. Hair with bangs. The reason I am mentioning this is because after she sat us down guests that she new sat them down and served them and ignored us. We actually waited at least 15 minutes before we even were asked for a drink. Served by another lady. We didn't even stay for coffee or dessert. The meal was nice. But if we were familiar with the area we would not eat here. Update on your furniture. People pay good money to eat and be comfortable. Management use your money to fix up the place.
We stopped in for an Italian dinner as we passed through Collingwood, Ontario on our way home. We both had our taste-buds set for a traditional Italian dinner of Spaghetti or Lasagna etc... We were seated and before long our waiter visited our table with menus. We were disappointed to see that neither Spaghetti nor Lasagna was on the menu. We excused our-self and left. We would NOT recommend this place to anyone looking for traditional Italian food.
Had a certificate so checked it out for first time. Mushroom soup of the day, tasty but a little under seasoned. Had the crab on brioche, which was yummy. Sweet potato wedges were great but would be nice to serve a dip such as ketchup or mayo/aioli etc. Expensive for what you get. Friendly service.
