Gustav Chophouse & Bar - Collingwood

We had the pleasure of eating here on Thursday August 10th. All four of us agreed that the food was amazing and the service was Fantastic. I unfortunately do not remember the name of the guy that served us but he was Fantastic, Thank you for making the evening that much better (from the table that ordered 55 wings and had the kids that requested Metallica from the live band :-))

We had a most enjoyable meal and the service was excellent as well. Previously this restaurant had been run down and terrible value for money so being a long suffering member of the place we just wanted to see what improvements had be done since the new owners had taken over. !0 out of 10 for the improvements to date (and keep it up) and a highly recommended place to go for an evening meal. My wife had the prime rib which was very taste and I had the ribs and that too was most enjoyable even the garnish was great.

25/07/2017 second night out of three, nothing to complain about really, other than the second time having food served on a flat board, it may look nice but it's something places shouldn't do, though this isn't the first place and won't be the last place to do this, it's elegant but not practical. Great food and the service was spot on, our waiter's name was Tyson, he made us feel very welcome, and remembered details about us from the first night, which was really nice.

Celebrated our anniversary and it was simply delicious. The service was great and the dinner outstanding. We went on a Wednesday and the wine was 1/2 price for a bottle. We had calamari, steak and a seafood pasta.....all perfectly prepared. We will go again.

This one of the very few places that still serves Chateaubriand for 2 and it didn't disappoint...We just loved it...and it is always a special touch when the Chef comes out to see how everything is...will be coming back to try other things soon...
