I went to Dulce for the first time yesterday and everything was fantastic! They have very unique and beautifully decorated desserts. I tried their brown butter panna cotta and a chocolate croissant, both were amazing... you must try their croissants! If you love chocolate, you need to try the chocolate one. View all feedback.
What Ed Tsvik doesn't like about Dulce Artisanal Pastry:
Their croissant is nothing special i think they either added some egg wash on top or burnt it slightly. Either way, it’s not pull apart soft yet still flakey. The pecan maple croissant was very good. The gruyere and onion danish was very nice. The baguette is holey as it should be, but a bit too dense and the bottom was jaw ache chewy. View all feedback.
Truly on level with French pastries. I used to drive 6 hours to Montreal for good parties... Now i can drive here 30 minutes away for the same quality!
By far one of the top three pastry shops in the tri-state area. The smell and taste and quality of all ingredients are amazing. It is worth a trip to enjoy any dessert.
I love croissants and there really just aren't a lot of places to get a good one around here. Dulce is the only place I can think of. Butter, chocolate..one time i came in and they had a peaches and cream croissant, it was delicious. Their bread is great too, and they have coffee.

As we approached the bakery, I spotted the pop tarts and chocolate croissants through the window. Upon entering, we were greeted by an employee at the register. I inquired about the pop tart flavors while taking in all the unique offerings. It felt a bit like those coffee shops where they expect you to know your order right away—akin to Starbucks, where you're expected to be ready to go without hesitation—even though we were the only customers in the bakery at that moment. I quickly glanced at the display case and chose an almond plum pop tart along with a chocolate croissant. My husband decided on the caramel pecan blondie. He tried to make a light-hearted joke with the staff, but it fell flat. Trust me, I know—he’s not the funniest—but it seemed like the employee was a bit annoyed. There were no smiles, no warmth—just a very businesslike atmosphere, which felt odd for a bakery known for its delightful pastries. We ended up saving our pastries for the next morning, so it’s our fault they didn't taste fresh, but I was hoping they'd impress us. I had such high expectations given the pretentious vibes, thinking their unique creations would blow us away. Unfortunately, they didn't. I wanted to love this experience so badly after being a fan for so long, but it just didn't happen. I rarely give low reviews, so please understand that I’m not a complainer by nature. I genuinely strive to find the positive in everything and give everyone a fair shot. If I happen to be in the area again, I'll definitely return to see if perhaps it was just an off day for the staff. If so, I will gladly update my review.
